I drove to Las Vegas this past weekend for a mini family reunion (my side) and the BYU/UNLV football game on Saturday. My nephew plays on the UNLV Rebel team, and three of his siblings live in the area, so his mom and dad (my brother) drove from Washington for the game and for work. My other brother who just lives in St. George came. Jorgen and Amy traveled from Provo to spend time with us and watch the game as well. We had so much fun the little time we spent together.

I love my brothers and feel so very blessed because of the care and concern they have shown me ever since I can remember. There was a long and volatile history in our family, but because two young men knocked on our door many, many years ago the lives of this little family of five were changed forever. I am passionate about the miraculous transformation that comes when children of a loving heavenly Father strive to live the truths they are taught. I have seen it and I have felt it.
What does this have to do with football? Probably nothing, but it brought some of us together this past weekend, and I'm glad it did!
